I wish that were the case but two of the kilts have no bottom strap.

I was wondering that since I do have an unusual build for a guy, I actually have a rear. Can it be that the pushing on the front from the belly vs the pushing out the back from the butt is doing it? I had my wife do the measurements per the instructions and made sure she did pull the tape tight. When it comes down to it the hip (on me is lower due to the butt) is the same as my waist. Causes problems in anything but relax fit pants since if it fits my waist (vs the abdomen for the kilt) it won't fit the legs or rear. I think the PC name is an atletic build. I had this issue even when I was 160ibs.

It is not to bad, just a little flip but I was noticing it on all of the kilts.

    Thx,
    Jim

    Question

Drac, correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds to me that when you are talking about "hip" vs. "butt" you are saying that your "hip" measurement is smaller than your "butt" measurement would be ? If that is the case, that might be part of the issue. Measuring guides vary, but generally the "hip" measurement is done around whatever the largest part of your hips, butt etc. and some makers tell you to do that one with a finger under the tape.
