    Smile New Jacket

    Hey Guys,

Just thought I'd let you know that I found a good wool winter coat to wear with the kilt at Old Navy of all places! I really dislike that store but my wife needed to in there for some reason and when I tagged along I found a short waisted, black wool, winter jacket for $35 that is perfect for wearing in this cold Pennsylvania weather with my kilts. Combined with a good sweater and my 8" steel toe boots I should be pretty warm. Thought I'd let all the bargain hunters out there know.

I saw that same one, I think... it was on their clearance rack. I put it on several times and walked around with it for a while, fully intending to buy it. My wife finally talked me out of it, though, saying that it was all wrinkly and would never straighten out and stay smooth. The wool was pretty thin and looked like it has been wadded up and steamed into that shape (all the ones on the rack looked like that too). So I put it back.

I saw another one at Banana Republic that I really liked. But it was a bit pricier and didn't quite fit me like I wanted.

    *sigh*

Yeah most of them were like that but I really lucked out with mine. Good luck with the kilted winter blues.

I got that one several years ago, and it's great for kilt wear. I really like mine, and it's been plenty warm for Oklahoma winters.
