Abilene?

I am going to be down in Abilene November 1st through 11th (or so) . Just wondering if there are any Kilties there that I can by a round for?
Will be doing some work for the Air Force, and I know that I will be pretty bored once the sun goes down.

Hey Gordon - we are organizing a Kilt night at the Trinity Hall pub on November 6th. The Trinity Hall pub is in Dallas. Dallas is about 3 hours from Abilene but its on a Saturday. Maybe you can made it?

I went to college in Abilene (Abilene Christian University) many years ago... Abilene's not so bad.

There are definitely some barbecue joints worth visiting. Try Joe Allen's, Harold's or Betty Rose. They're all pretty good!

Yes, Taos is worth it. Which is why I try to spend as little time elsewhere as possible.
Also, thanks so much for the "Q" suggestions. I will plan on trying out each and every one. As far as I am concerned, there is nothing better than Q and beer!
