SEAFORTHS CENTENARY - NOV 27th 2010
By way of reminder (thanks Thistledown!) the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada will be celebrating their centennial with the public, including the trooping of new colours!
The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 27th 2010.
I'm not sure that I will be able to make it, but here's some information for those who would like to:
Date: Saturday, November 27, 2010
Time: 2:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m.Gates open at 1:00 p.m.

Pipe band performances by special guests from the Netherlands.
The Seaforth Highlanders of Holland, Memorial Pipe and Drum and
The show stoppers from our May Ceilidh: The Band of the15th Field Regiment RCA
And our very own Seaforth Highlanders Pipe and Drum.
Official presentation of new colours and regimental parade. The colours are the ceremonial flags adorned with the battle honors of Seaforth Highlander of Canada members. Our colours haven’t been presented since 1962, so this is a historical moment for the regiment. And something that we’d like to share with you.

Parking: Parkade parking is available directly across the street from the venue (Thunderbird Parkade) along with an additional lot directly behind (Lot B1).
