Well, I just "liked" the Queen, and surprisingly I was only number 3445. Has HRH popularity slipped, or is this just something most residents of the UK aren't likely to do?

She hasn't been HRH since 1952. For the last 58 years she's been HM.

    Her Royal Majesty.

Too bad that's not her title.

As I said, she hasn't been HRH for 58 years, and she is currently "HM".

Well... OK... if you say so it must be so. However I don't think any offense should or would be taken by the addition of "Royal". And my recollection is that that's how they did it in the 'Sir Francis Drake' TV series, from which I learned all my courtly titles.

Kings and queens have the style of Majesty (HM). Some, throughout history have also used Royal Majesty (HRM).
Please note that HM Queen Elizabeth II does not use HRM, so it may have been used in the past with other monarchs, it however is not with this one. On Her Majesty's (official, not Facebook!) page with I've referenced above, you will not find the phrase "Her Royal Majesty", or "Royal Majesty" even once, as hard as you might look. Alas, a TV show might have given you a guess that was close, but ultimately may have lead you astray...

The only variation that I can think of is "Her Brittanic Majesty" which appears on UK passports and is used in matters of diplomacy.

Other styles may sometimes be used in her other realms and territories but usually only to differentiate her from other monarchs.

Geez folks. If I remember correctly her Style and Title in the UK is Her Majesty The Queen. (HM) and in Canada she is styled Her Royal Majesty, (HRM) Queen of Canada. So potAtos potAHtos. Stop arguing for pity's sake!

Maybe you missed it, but I am Canadian. I'm sorry, but you've remembered incorrectly. She is styled, Her Majesty the Queen of Canada.

"His/Her 'Royal' Majesty" is a style that only some of her predecessors used. She has never used HRM in any realm, country or context, ever.

But, you know what, maybe you're right. I'll stop 'arguing' and the rest of you can carry on with your incorrect recollections and guesses. I quit.
