A band you'll love

First of all, a disclaimer; this is my best friend's band.

Rising Gael is the best Irish band you've never heard of. I feel like they should be getting more exposure, so I'd like to encourage you guys to check them out. Here's their website:

If nothing else, just listen to a few tunes. They're truly spectacular. A great group of musicians, dancers, Gaelic speakers, and entertainers.

So, I bought the CD on Amazon (just did the mp3 download for the album) and after two listens through I have to say that I really like it! Keep us posted on any new albums they release!

They tour mostly around the Midwest, but also in Texas and New York. I know they've been to Colorado too.

They'll have a new album coming out this winter which, from what I've heard so far, will be amazing.

Think AC/DC meets Pink Floyd with bagpipes and Johny Cash on vocals. They played All Along The Watchtower when I saw them a couple weeks ago. Nothing like hearing that played on the bagpipes. Matt is a MONSTER! Give them a listen- you'll thank me as much as I am thanking you!!
