Upcoming Scotch Tasting at Trinity Hall

For those in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Trinity Hall is having another Scotch tasting on December 15th. Scott's Selection will be hosting the event; single barrel, cast strength, 18-36 year matured, single malt Scotch whisky.

The line up of whiskies has not been finalized but we were surveyed and asked which ones we would like to taste. Here is the list of whiskies:

    Aberlour 1989 (18 year)
    Auchentoshan 1983 (21 year)
    Bladnoch 1984 (20 year)
    Glen Elgin 1980 (25 year)
    Glen Grant 1967 (36 year)
    Glen Grant 1977 (26 year)
Glenlivet 1971 (36 year Sherry Cask!)
    Glenlivet 1977 (27 year)
    Glen Mor 1978 (23 year)
    Longmorn Glenlivet 1967 (36yr), 1968 (36 yr) & 1971 (33yr)

I'm looking forward to this event!

Any clue why the last item is listed with three years? These are all single-cask selections, which means it can't be a blend, right?

Hi Elim - maybe it is three separate bottles. I'm not sure. Hope to see you there.

    Chuck.
