I say! Steady on there Chas. Although .........
Let's not forget that this wee fellow is the new mascot of the finest of all Welsh Folk Music Clubs. My suggestion, Derek, is 'Rumney Rob'.
Take care,
Ham.

I take your word for it, Todd, but it’s a grievous mis-naming!
Did they use a longer name for it, by any chance? I was wondering if the Black Watch had given this particular badge the same nickname as the signallers’ name for their badge.

I'll throw in a couple suggestions...How about "Malt", or "Half-Pint"?

I am moving away from 'Hamish' and more to 'Rumney Rob', but having attended one of the annual Rumney Folk Fests, 'Half Pint' is very appropriate!

Given that Seamus is the gaelic pronunciation of James and that Hamish is the anglicised version of the vocative (Sheamus) and that Jimmie is the shortened version of James, any dispute about which of three names would be best might be considered to be moot! I agree with our Hamish that a Welsh name would be more suitable. Perhaps Dafydd or Ifan?

Rhodri Rhudd; Ruairidh Ruaidh
Although the name seems to already be used by some pirate.
