Kilt for the misses

Unless they're butch, most women should not wear kilts. The exception is women who are in pipe bands.

My Dad would argue with that, too. He feels that no woman should ever wear a kilt - -no exception.

But you were asking for opinions, right?

Gosh Pyper - that is very inflammatory. And if I may put an opposite view, wrong on so many levels. Long before acrylic or PV were discovered for kiltmaking, my mother, grandmother and both of my aunts wore kilts. Not kilted skirts, not tartan skirts, but real kilts. As did many women in the middle classes and most of the county set. I can't remember any of them being butch.

Maybe, you and your father know a different type of woman?
