I am currently having the same issue, with a store called "Celtic Craft Center" we visited in Edinburgh in June of 2010. We finally received the kilt in October, yet we are TOO patiently awaiting the flashes and Argyll jacket. Our formal event is December 15, 2010. It seems that we did not shop early enough. I guess in order to avoid the stress, it might be best to place an order at least 9 months in advance of the event date.
Does anybody have information on the Celtic Craft Centre shop on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh? They seemed reputable enough when we were there last June.
