A close-up of some of the other goodies that were included....

Lochcarron of Scotland, the mill that wove the MacDonell of Keppoch (Ancient) tartan that my kilt was made of....

Matt's label (there was also a small Made in the USA label too):

Getting ready to remove the basting threads from the pleats....

A pile of basting threads later....

1st wearing ....I'm still awaiting my traditional garter ties for the kilt hose (they'll probably arrive tomorrow), and I've misplaced my special kilt pin

1st wearing - back view of the box pleats....wearing my woad blue bonnet hand knitted by our own Unaspenser (Diane)

This one is for Scott (Artificer): wearing the Artificer #6 sporran, sporran belt, & waist belt that he made for me

The angle of this photo makes the kilt look like it hangs lower than it really does. The 1st photo above is a more true representation (mid to almost @ the top of knee).

Look for more photos of the kilt in action to be added later this week (after the garter ties arrive )
