Special Sale this week on KILT HOSE
Happy St. Nicholas Day!
To celebrate the holiday season, this week from Dec. 6 to Dec. 10 we are having a special sale on select kilt hose from our gift shop.
Our standard range of kilt hose has been reduced in price from $27.95 to only $19.95!
And our popular Lewis Hose range, available in 18 different colors, have been reduced from $48 to $38.
We have a good stock of both of these ranges currently, so we should be able to fill most orders immediately. We are going to keep the sale prices in place through Dec. 10, though, and even if we sell out of certain colors or sizes and have to backorder, we will still honor the sale price.

Matt,
OK, this looks like just the temptation I needed to try the Lewis Hose. Quick question, though: the "dark natural" and "bison" colors... are those brown hues or grey hues? I can't tell on my monitor, especially with the photos of the hose being taken against a stark white background in bright light.
I'm wanting a set of hose in a brown hue, but I want to be sure about those before I order.

They are brown. The "dark natural" is a darker shade of brown and the "bison" is more of a tan or oatmeal color.
If it helps, here is a photo of the dark natural being worn.

Sorry, I don't have a pair of the bison myself. :-)

Matt, what shades of blue are those shown in the pic on the Lewis hose page ( http://giftshop.scottishtartans.org/hose_lewis.htm )?
The pair on the left ( the lighter colour ) looks to be almost a robin's egg blue. The other pair look to be a rich sky blue.

...and which of the lighter blues would look the best with Carolina?

When given a choice, most people will choose.

Here is the image:

Clockwise from top we have dark natural (with loden green garters), claret (with St. Andrews blue garters), ancient blue (with yellow garters), and lovat green (with claret garters)

I'd go with ancient blue.

Excuse me Matt. Are those US or UK shoe sizes for the Lewis hose or do you know? I land right between two sizes and wonder if I should size up or size down. Since I've got pretty slim calves I'm leaning to the lower size. Can you provide any insight?
