I centered my white stripes on the pleat but i like your idea better.
That darn block of dark green with the blue stripe thru it was hard to see to line up straight. I had every light on in the house last night to see it and gave up thinking i will try again in daylight....but alas, woke to find our power was out and dreary skies. Got it done finally.
