Kilt night Charleston SC -Planning stage-
Calling all kilts From Columbia to Savannah and all points within driving distance for an evening out. Lets set a date, time and location allowing for enough time for ppl to plan for it. I would like to have more than 4 ppl in kilts at this one. Spouses are welcome and encouraged. That way they can commiserate on what silly men we are . Hey it makes them happy. If you have little ones and wish for them to attend that is OK as well, there are plenty of Family friendly places we can go to. Lets face it, its not like we are going to party like Rock stars and stay out till 3 am!!!!! Ahhhh the good ol days.
Let hear it

Woo-hoo. The weather has finally broken and the temperature is perfect kilt weather. Great idea……just pick a date/place and throw it out there.

Sounds great but it's going to be hard for me to get away between now and Thanksgiving. I'm transitioning between two jobs and am actually wearing both hats until then... just a wee bit overbooked.
Sometime in the window between Thanksgiving and Christmas would probably be best for me, but no need to put off a date that long if a quorum can be mustered. We should put this out to the KROCS rabble who generally check in under the Georgia listings.

Recently unemployed but not all that far away. And if the Missus can get the day off, that'd be even better! give her a chance for some Guinness and me a chance to talk with more experienced gents!

Just spent the weekend at the Mount Pleasant KOA, found The Dog & the Duck practically across Highway 17 on Park West Blvd. Nice family pub with a fair amount of kids in the place when we arrived on Saturday night. Not quite as Brittish as we were expecting though. Guess that we got spoiled at places like Hair of the Dog in Chattanooga and Molly MacPherson's in Savannah. We had meant to try and get to the Blind Tiger but never got to downtown at all.

In eight short days, Father Christmas shall be visiting one and all, the week after shall be the New Year. Did I miss the kilt night or is this a plan for the new year? Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, grin...
