Hi everybody
Hi. I have been lurking in the background here for a couple of years and decided that it's high time I joined up. I have thoroughly enjoyed following the exploits of the members here, and have found the answers to many questions I have had over the years about the details of highland dress. I play the pipes with some competence, and several other instruments with more and lesser competence. I don't currently play pipes with a band, although I sometimes find piping jobs in my community. I also play with a brass band at CFB Borden; Mess dinners and other functions. I live north of Barrie, Ontario, Canada, in Oro-Medonte township. I hope to continue keeping up with the members here more closely now that I've joined up, and may even make it out to a few Kilt Nights in the future. Merry Christmas everyone, and may you all enjoy a prosperous and happy New Year.
