I was thinking of them as well (having bought hides from them in the past).
I was also going to mention Craigie Originals, as they've offered wolverine before, however I have to ask: are they still in business???
I just did a search & couldn't locate their website

I know the "Raw Fur Store" in Fairbanks has them. Don't know about a website, but you ought to be able to google up their phone number easy.
$200-300 is pretty much the year round price here, wolverines are pretty common north of here, but they are smart and hard to trap, thus relatively expensive.
I think if you bought a big one for $250-300 you would have enough fur to make at least two sporrans, maybe three. I guess if you were doing fronts and flaps in fur with sides and back in leather you might get 5-6 sporrans out of one pelt.
I need to go over there Monday anyway, I can measure a couple up if you like. I'll ask about shipping, I imagine domestic would be no problem.
I am a rank n00b when it comes to sporrans, but I would whole lot rather wolverine or badger than skunk.

Maybe my post went back in the mdoerator approval queue since I am new. Hmmm.
Any way, if you decide to buy a pelt, these are the folks in Fairbanks to call. There are some other places in town, but this place I will order from over the phone knwoing I am going to get good product.

M2c, I didn't notice a supporting vendor selling pelts so I _think_ this is ok to share. Their website is very very slow, store hours are one hour west of California timezone.

Thanks for that link.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

Hey, thanks for the suggestions everyone. It'll probably be awhile before I actually get this - I just wanted to have an idea where I might start looking.

For those of you interested, the US Fish and Wildlife Service maintains the list of endangered species for the United States. The current list has over 618 species listed. This is what the site says about Wolverines:
Wolverine to be Designated a Candidate for Endangered Species Protection
Wolverines found in the contiguous United States warrant protection under the Endangered Species Act, but a rulemaking to propose the species for protection is precluded by the need to address other higher priority species, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced today. The wolverine will be added to the list of candidates for Endangered Species Act protection, where its status will be renewed annually.
