We've been twice, in '04 and '09. We're hoping to maybe get back out there again next year. I agree with most everyone else. Utilikilts are the way to go. I've also worn my union kilt and blaklader. It's definitely an adventure. We look forward to the cross-country drive from NC as much as the event itself. Hopefully see a few of you out there next time. :-)
Ok, just spent the better part of an hour on the Burning Man site...hummm wonder if my son would be up 10 days with the old man? ith:
BroosterB1: My advice is that its like wearing the kilt. If it interests you, do it! I put off attending for a bunch of years until someone gave me the needed push. First tickets go on sale January 19th. It doesn't sell out, but gets more expensive as time goes on.
For me planning my gear and costumes is half the fun.
