Hey, Greg:
Yep, tradtional kilts are more recognizable for sure. But... modern kilts for everyday wear? Not so much. Everyone expects a tartan and most are a bit confused by a dude in a pleated skirt with a lot of brass accents.
Kind of feel that we have to take the modern kilt to the next level.

I for my part could very well imagine a modern kilt without all the metal things. So yes, there might be a market for a "next level" modern kilt.
