Kilts at Two Fools in Albuquerque

I'm out in Albuquerque visiting our daughter and son-in-law, and we got together with two XMarkers (the two Bruces from Albuquerque) for dinner and beer at an Irish pub called Two Fools. I failed to bring any kilts with us, so there was no kilt for Dave to wear, and I didn't have mine with me, either. Luckily, Carolyn is awash in kilts, and I prowled her closet and snagged one of hers to wear. Dave took a few photos of the "kilted ones".

Da crew in front of Two Fools:

Inside Two Fools: Carolyn in U. S. Air Force tartan, Barb wearing Carolyn's High Desert Pipes and Drums Modern Red Wallace, Bruce 1 wearing Weathered Gordon, and Bruce 2 wearing Muted Lindsay:

And because I hadn't been thinking about wearing a kilt in ABQ, I didn't come prepared at all with any appropriate footwear. One reason that I opted for Carolyn's Wallace kilt was that I could wear a pair of black tights and my extra swell matching red and black cowboy boots....

And a good time was had by all!!

Looks like a fun evening out. I'll have to look the pub up when we are in ABQ next time. Barb, somehow the boots seem to go ok with your kilt, not that I'd try that combination in a million years!

Living in Texas, that's not the first time I've seen someone in cowboy boots and a kilt! Great pics, Barbara.

Barb, those boots are awesome!! And watch out for the Brooster... His eyes look a little shifty.
