How are you guys checking your prostate temp?!? Also complements on the straight razors. I use a wade and butcher extra hollow ground circa 1870's. I am looking to get another W&B meatchopper with a butchers notch. I like that monkey tail razor a few posts back. those go for big money!

Why? Are you worried that your's may be too cold?

Considering where one has to go to gain access to it to get an accurate reading, I would say that this is one of those rare cases where I'll gladly remain uninformed. Sometimes ignorance really is bliss...especially when getting the information is literally a pain in the a$$.

I'm not having issues, so I would have to assume that its temperature is within the range that would allow proper function. It's in the "Goldilocks Zone," not too hot, not too cold.

I suppose a more accurate statement would be "I see no need to warm it."

I suppose your post summarizes my reasons for my post. I also suppose we are experiencing some thread drift...

I am the OP. I OK the thread drift- that really is the point of starting a thread, anyway! It's meant to inspire discussion... and it has...

And for the record- I would assume my own prostate to be in that Goldie Locks zone as well... although I don't know it for a fact...

Prostate, prostate, prostate! Well, if it is of any interest to anyone, I have not had one since 2008.
Just as well, as it was in the early stages of cancer. In fact, prostate cancer was what killed my brother.
Only trouble is, my bladder has not always been well behaved since then. Last Tuesday I had to go into hospital for the fourth time since my prostatectomy to have my bladder cut open.
Still in recovery, although I have been home since Thursday.
Don’t let it frighten you, though.
    Regards,
    Mike

Don't let it frighten me? Now I'm terrified!

I'm surprised the prostate warmer has garnished more attention than the spiked "anti-self pollution" devices

Is it just too painful to think of?
