Great photos mate and it's easy to see that you all are very doting on the wee one. Must have had lot's to catch up and I guess, that's what Christmas is all about. Great to see a very proud grandad and family. Cheers mate.

Great pictures! It's not hard to see the pride and joy in your face. Many happy years to come, we all hope.

As for Patrick, there's a lesson to be learned. The Good Book says "Train up a child in the way he should go, when he is old, he will not depart from it". Doesn't say anything about being young and stupid, just that when age comes, so does the remembrance of a good upbringing.

Great photos and congratulations on your wonderful grandson! Given all the history of Scots and Native Americans getting along well together I'm sure your son will come around to the kilt idea.

...he wasn't too sure about my wearing of the kilt, and he's not to keen on the idea of us making a Macdonell of Keppoch kilt for Koda (as my sister said: "it'll be easier to change diapers!"), but the ol' man will wear him down eventually!
Just tell him about Chief John Ross of the Cherokees, whose father was a Scots fur trader, or show him Robert Griffing's Warriors with the Cherokee and Highlander. You could always give him a copy of Calloway's White People, Indians and Highlanders as well.

That's my favorite Griffing Todd! I like to call it "A meeting of my kinfolk"
