They've already got a piper who I'm sure they are paying a good price to be there. It might piss him/her off if another piper started playing at their gig.

My lass and I are intending to come down too. Unfortunately, we can't be there until after 9ish... hopefully we don't miss all the fun!

Has anyone been to a Burn's Night at this pub before? What are people going to wear?

Gentlemen - I'm at a Burns supper tonight at Toronto's University Club or I'd join you - but be warned - expect a really cold night. The weather forecast calls for negative double digits.

Wear your warmest hose and protect "the family" so to speak. But have fun.
