I can't open the link in the OP, so may be missing the point here but anyway, I have a handmade sgian from whitetail antler but it's straight handled with no prong and set with two green mossy agate stones, matching the dominant colour of my usual kilt. It's rustic in the eyes of some, I'm sure- but I love it like I could love no false bladed or plastic handled item. Plus, I'm nothing if not rusticated....

Even though I could take one, I can't post photos from here. Altho it's been a while since I bought it, it may still be on the maker's webpage... but he was hard to find without his business card so let me look around... he was at the Glengarry Games a few years ago... dang...

EDIT: Since I acquired bunches of them from retiring colleagues, I've been through about 500 to 1000 business cards but can't find the personal one I need. The knifesmith laddie was at Glengarry 2 or 3 years ago and was in a tent with some other custom makers, sporrans and pins- if anyone knows who he might be, please PM me as I intended to keep track of him anyway. Anyway it will be some time before I can post a photo since I need a cooperative family member... we all know how rare they are.

I belive the OP is seeking a sgian with an antler grip from a native whitetail, not some "foreign" deer.

Our own Joe Gondek makes some beauties with crown piece hilts. Here's mine:
