Because they are one and the same!! We give God different names and recognize different aspects, but in the end... there is only one God. There are just multiple ways of understanding Him. And you know what? The good people of this forum have made it clear throughout this entire thread that we all realize and respect this! It's just one of the many things about us that soundly proves that man dead wrong about kilties lacking in refinement. We here on this board, as evidenced in this thread, are more enlightened and tolerant and accepting than any other group of people I have had the pleasure of associating with. Makes me proud to be part of it. Here's to my next 4000 posts with you lot!!
How do you know that there is only 1 God?

Unfortunately I think this may be the wrong forum for that particular question. A PM or an email to one of us who believes that may be more in line with the rules of the site. Not that I don't welcome discussion. I just don't want arguments to spring up publicly like they have in the past with political statements from other posts.
All the best,
Hugh

It is mentioned. As "Hades" and a "lake of fire" as I recall. Also I think "Sheol" was used as a term for a damnable grave. And you are right, people who twist scripture to support thier own views rather than accept it for what it is (in context mind you, always in context) are downright disgusting. And the Bible says they are false teachers. Wonder what he'd say to that? Unfortunately he's probably to delusional to care.
All the Best,
Hugh
P.S. I also rather like CDNSushi's thought about not letting Satan take up too much of our mental energy. Best to be aware he exists and then tell him to unkindly GO to hell. Frees up time for "those good and noble things."

This thread is in danger of getting into religious discussions and arguments.
Please keep to the context which is still kilts and one particular person's views about them.

The more I think about it the more I think it's jealousy. He "grew up" in Scotland correct? Maybe he took note of our kilted brethren and then took note of the way people looked at them. Older ones stoping to say hi. Beautiful women looking no staring at them. Flirting. Let's face it wearing a kilt you get 200% more attention. Then look at him he may have been mire religious than most youngsters. Trying to avoid sin but still wishing those ladies would pay him attention. I have always thought that those who are over the top and unreasoning have always had issues of their own. I think he attacks men with kilts because if he says we look like women then maybe they won't like us. Just a thought
