    You reckon it's fizzy?

On a serious note, I avoid aluminum cans. I've read that aluminum has been linked to Alzheimer's diesease, and I want to stay away from it, if at all possible.

I seem to remember reading that somewhere, but I can't remember where or when. And I can't find my keys. Great...I guess I shouldn't have drank all that canned Bud Light in college.

Yes, aluminium has been linked to Alzheimer like symptoms - there was an accident, years ago, in Devon I think, where a delivery to a local water treatment plant went terribly wrong and high concentrations of aluminium were put into the outgoing water.

A woman affected by the water died only recently after a long illness, and high concentrations of aluminium were found in her brain.

Apparently drinking Volvic mineral water will remove aluminium from the body as it contains silicates. There is something significant about aluminium silicate but as it is but two minutes to midnight my little grey cells are not up to revealing what that might be. I think they might already be tucked up and asleep leaving me on automatic pilot.

    Time for bed.

I only ever put the alcohol I made at school in glass containers. It was as close to pure ethanol as I could make it, for experiments in the chemistry lab. I was never tempted to drink it - something to do with the poison lable I think.

Oh, this whole thread is classic. Even the kitten is wondering what is wrong with me.

After being on paitnball forums for a bit of time, I have one rule when on ANY forum: No food or drinks within reach while on forum. This rule has saved me keyboards and monitors, let alone clean-up.

There is only one thought that comes to my mind when I think about this product: :fewl: :crap:

    Cheers!

Am I the only one wondering why on a can of "Scottish Spirits" "Whisky" with the English text "Very Rare Blend", there exists the phrase "Veni Vidi Vici" or "I came, I saw, I conquered"?

    perhaps it's a gross mistranslation of "I came, I saw, I chundered."

It would make more sense. Just saying.

Sorry about you lads with the complex against aluminum cans. More Oscar Blues (Dale's Pale Ale, Gubna IPA) beers for me... and of course PBR when I'm slummin' it... the bottle PBR just isn't the same.

I got to agree about the whisk(e)y tho... of course I can be a bit of a snob.
