He's not a kilt wearer, but we'd discussed and looked at some of the royal families' tartans after seeing "The Queen". My friend wondered which one was in "The Kings Speech", and he found the whole Irish tartan thing quite funny.
I saw it. I thought it was an okay film. I don't get all the hype about it being OSCAR worthy, though. Colin Firth was asked by one of the TV entertainment shows if he was going to wear a kilt at the OSCAR ceremony (like Mel Gibson and Liam Neesen did in 1996) and he said, it would certainly be ok if he did because the kilt is so "liberating".
