A great picture of you and your lovely wife. You are always so well turned out. Your watch fob caught my eye. It looks like the Southern Cross of Honor.

Thanks, but it is the medallion I received when I was inducted into the International Guild of Tartan Scholars.

May I add my belated congratulations, Matt, on being very smartly turned out indeed.
Your wife seems to follow mine in preferring to wear black, but I do hope to persuade her to wear a tartan stole or shawl like your wife’s. Is that one Irish National?
    Regards,
    Mike

No, it's the MacAlpine tartan, hand woven in silk. :-)

    Matt,

You and your talented wife look great.

Wish I could have been there to hear your Immortal Memory.

Any video of "Immortal Memory?" My Burns Nights this year were also a little thin on his poetry
