Glad to know she does wear tartan!
I don’t know of a sett called Chinese, but there is a Shenzen tartan, plus a few others belonging to that part of the world.

There is indeed a such a tartan! STA ref:6807, properly know as the Chinese Scottish tartan.

My lass is still working on putting an outfit together around her tartan kilt-skirt, so hopefully you'll all see its debut soon. In the meantime, here's a pic of it and a link to its page over at the Scottish Register of Tartans:

Oh, yes, I had almost forgotten the Chinese Scottish Tartan. But I believe it’s restricted. I was under the impression that it was reserved for Chinese residents of Scotland.
I have heard that the Chinese of Canada are organised in national units that have little contact with each other, to the extent that the South African Chinese in Canada had to form their own association, so as to be sure they weren’t ignored.
    Regards,
    Mike
