Has anyone got one of these?
While having a look at TFCK's website I came across his leather holsters, I saw them before but I'm not all that keen on paying £175 for something I might not use too much. So this being the modern day I went a looking on the interweb and i came across this but postage from the US is going to set me back a fair bit which I'm not keen on if I can get away with it.
So with thoughts of Ron's customised pockets and thigh holsters in mind I thought i would open it up to the rabble, who has or has had something like this before and where did you get it from?
Your thoughts please ladies and gentlemen,

Reminds me of an episode of the office (uk version), he had one for his cell phone.
Im not sure how much thinkgeek charges to ship over there, but maybe you could have them ship to a us person and have it shipped on?

I don't know about the office I never watched it. I have seen something that looks like a purse for putting your wallet into but the holster type thing looks better to me.
Having a look at think geek's website shipping to Scotland is about $22.

Looks like a shoulder holster on both counts. Methinks there could be problems when viewed from a distance - other's thinking you're healed.
Might be a great idea for carrying things when you're hiking - in lieu of a sporran.
If you're wearing it under a vest or jacket and reach in there others are likely to go on alert..

I can see where your coming from Ron but I can't imagine it would cause too much trouble over here with firearms being illegal.
This is all just hypothetical just now anyway, i might just ask Howie for a look at one of his when im down in edinburgh for my next kilt.

Hi Jordan,
If you are seriously interested, you might want to check out baby-goods accessories. Until recently I was a retailer for Bebe Confort, Loola, MaxiCosi, Quinney and all the associated companies.
One of the major accessories was the 'nappy bag', for changing the baby while on the move. The problem is, that the bag has to be huge to carry everything. Jogging or power walking is a sport carried out by many new mothers to get back into shape. What they require is a baby, a jogger, themselves and a small bag. (They were only going to be out for 20 minutes max - no need for the huge bag.)
To the rescue come the manufacturers. Most have produced an over the shoulder, cross chest, type carrier. These carriers have phone pockets, key clips, wallet pocket, separate change pocket, camera clip, odds and sods pockets and an everything else pocket.
I know what you are thinking, but they are made to look stylish. The projected look is 'hot', rather than 'mumsy'. Most make a unisex or male orientated model. MaxiCosi had a limited edition one in black leather.
Worth a look, I think.
Regards
Chas

The problem will arise, I can assure you. Never underestimate the inquisitiveness of your average British plod.

Check this out. It is what I use for carrying extras that will not fit in my sporran.

Although it comes from Pakistan I still think it is of reasonable quality.
