Hello From Texas, Corpus Christi to be precise
I have been lurking on this board for a while now, noticed one of my friends (Ripcode) got on here so I figured it was about time so did I.
For years I wanted to get a kilt. In November I got around to buying my first one and since they had baby kilts I got my 4 month old son one as well. Since then I find myself sporting it around the house and the new rule in the house is when my buddy and I make beer it’s a kilt only event.
I am also a member of the Kilted Trooper Brigade. Yup, I am a 501st guy.
So far
Army ACU Kilt
USMC Kilt is on order
And the Firefighter Kilt is the next one
I have done time in the Marines, Active Army, the past 7 years in the Army Reserves, and im a Navy civ firefighter.
Looking around the past few months I have found this board and the members here very useful and friendly.

Welcome from sunny San Antonio. The times I've made it down to the NAS to visit troops, yes there are Soldiers stationed there, the wind has surely made the pleats dance. What style beer do you prefer to make?

I work on that base so im familiar with the Soldiers here and the silly stuff they do. I’ve had to pull a few of them off to the side and ask ***. But Soldiers will be Soldiers. And since my ETS is coming up im going to find a unit here in Corpus. The drive to Houston and back for the past five years is killing me. I take it you have a unit down here?
Beer wise, ill make just about anything. Not a huge fan of dark beers but ill make it, just won’t drink it. Matter of fact we are going to do a batch next weekend. Haven’t decided what kind we are going to make yet. Still haven’t made it to the experimenting stage yet.
Thanks yall for the kind greetings!
