    A fine job there!

    I have an infinite amount of respect for the hand-sewers. I tend to stitch my bloody (literally!) fingers into the project when working with those pesky little needles.

    Couple of needle-sticks, better than coffee to wake a man up, though.

    I'll never make a tailor, but I've never been ashamed to wear my work.

    They say that beekeepers get so used to being stung that they don't notice it anymore. I think that kiltmakers must develop a similar relationship with the needle, but I'm nowhere near that yet.

    Mike, the 22oz kilt went back to the band it came from, with a glad heart.

    Beautiful! I love the Seaforth Highlanders (see avatar). I have a display here at home of an early Great War Seaforth uniform (none original except the shoulder titles, sadly). One day I'd love to get my hands on a real surplus Seaforth kilt.
