I've been thinking about getting a pair since everyone I have talked to that owns a pair have reported that they are really comfortable. Much more natural to walk in.

I have heard they take a little bit to get use to since most of us have been in shoes for so long our feet aren't like they were when we were kids and could run barefoot through just about anything.

End result: I can see myself in them in one of my casuals.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

    Nope, I'd have recognized that!

Wow, what slurry of differing opinions! I s’pose that’s to be expected though—haha. It would seem I am still back at square one, however, should I attempt it I will definitely take pics for all to see!

p.s. They are really comfortable and feel as though you are barefoot.

Yeah, I actually started a similar thread to this some time back. I was lamenting the fact that I couldn't find (and still can't) any toe hose.

I've seen plenty of toe socks that were calf length for women.

Never seen a pair of tall men's toe socks, which, truely, could work in a pinch...

Or take a pair of charcoal wool toe socks and have someone knit cuffs on them. In fact, this might be your only option.

It's fine at home or in the deep woods where no one can see you...

Never worn them when kilted. Probably never will... unless it's a UK and I'm camping... which, honestly, you are more likely to catch me going out in public naked than you will in a UK, I just don't care for their style.
Ditto Joshua, I have two pairs at the moment and here in Orlando and they see lots of time walking around the theme parks etc and seem to get almost as many comments as my kilts when i wear them.... anyone considering purchasing a pair remember shoot a half to a whole size smaller than your normal shoe size and get them from a place that lets you do free exchanges until you get your sizing down.

I agree. If you would wear those anyway, then why not?
