I wouldn't do it; but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't. I have to say, it does sound atrocious, and the pic posted above looks pretty (to me) bad. Then again, to each his/her own. Try it out, post pics.

    VFF goes well with kilts...

...just not on the same person!

I have a fairly diverse kilt collection and none of them work with the FiveFingers.

Ahh a pair of treksports - good taste my man...

Actually the only pairs they had in my size at Bill Jacksons were either colored like creamsicle or black, so I got the black... and they happened to be treksports.

Seriously, if I could find a pair of calf-high toe socks I might consider it... but I have this thing about wearing a kilt w/out hose... w/out hose it just looks like a "skirt" to me, personally (I know, I know... I'm an a-hole), but the hose is what makes it a kilt.

Thanks for the pic.I have now found an article of clothing which makes my sartorial soul shudder even more than baseball caps. That said. absolutely no problem wearing them or anything else with a casual kilt. Comfort rules when casual.....

With the initial caveate that you can wear anything you like . . . .

    Since you asked: Yes,--too casual--or. . . strange--or . . . something. Maybe to a dog fight, but otherwise. . . no!

    Happy kilting.

Seriously....why do you have to ask?

If you're just curious what people think...fine. I think they look awful.

If you really, truly honestly are looking for validation, then I have to ask...why?
