I agree with Nighthawk. That just sucks.
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.

The Dutch friendship is a lovely tartan but hard to get hold of from what I gather.
So getting some of it is more than half the battle!

Wow, if I had to make 25 kilts in the same tartan, I think I'd be tempted to squeeze in a few other orders in the mix, just to break up the monotony! :-)

Thanks to Forrester Modern for his tartan hunting work and overcoming the language barrier somehow...
And I agree Matt. Having grown up in cut and sew factories doing the same thing over and over and over and over again the mere thought of it makes me queasy. But, guess there's that difference between factory work and hand sewn craftsmanship.
My kilt will arrive...I know it will....

Have you decided what tartan your next kilt will be in yet, Ron?
You could dull the jones with a new jones.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Okay, Ron, the race is on, as Bonnie Heather has the DFT tartan for kilts for my son Carter and I, and ours has risen to near the top of her list as well. Carter's will likely be done first, so it is you against him now. First to post pictures wins.
For anybody interested in the DFT the easiest way to get some is to actually call them and speak with the website owners, also the tartan design owners. They are less than stellar about responding to emails.
Cannot wait to see the kilts from all this effort. We will join Canuck as DFT owners in North America. Not sure if there are any others out there on this side of the pond.

Well guys, Your kiltmakers can take as long as they please. Whilst I enjoy being the only one in North America with a completed DFT, also sporting a lovely tulip kilt pin.
Enjoy the jones ;)

Ah, well, Ron, you and I will have to exercise patience. My kilt has still not shown up either, although I believe the kiltmaker was done with it a week ago.
Hang in there!
Regards,
Mike
