Delusions of Grandeur...
Interesting stuff. Who is the author of said website? Not to necessarily doubt the truth of what the site puts forth, but they don't seem to say who they are in fact... just makes me wonder.
At any rate, I read with a bit of sadness about the fake Laird & Lady scams (ie buying a square foot of Scottish estate): my wife bought one for me a few Christmases ago, and while I certainly held no visions of grandeur about my so called "Lairdship" (definitely would NOT make a video about it), it seemed nice that the land was being preserved/conserved in some fashion. But I suppose this is not the case...
It would seem that the Scottish Heritage market is chock-a-bloc with such scams.

The author of the website is Lord Bradford a genuine Earl. If your plot of ground is where I think it is, it is highly unlikely to change from its present condition for at least until the next ice age.

Reality Check...
Oh, right. Upon further perusal I discovered a link to the Earl's other site, which I found to give a much more... genuine impression.
Yeah, we probably didn't put a lot of thought into the reality of the whole Kincavel/Ardnamurchan situation; more of a novelty to us, I guess... We're not likely to be able to visit it until the next ice age, anyway. :P Maybe by then we can drive to Scotland?

OH what a nosey bunch ye are!
I know who they are yes, and there is more than one involved, but as far as revealing their identities, do you think that is the correct thing to reveal, look at the type of fakes and scammers they are bringing to people attention?
Some of these people they are dealing with aren't out of kinder garden!

I do understand what you are saying, but I think, nay, I know I would prefer to know who I am dealing with. I left the kinder garden many years ago!

No surprise! Anytime something related to titles or arms etc.. comes up on this forum, someone will want to lift the bonnet and see if the serial numbers match!
