Thank you all for your thoughts... We're heading out tonight for Canada..the house sitters and large slavering dogs are in place so we'll see how it all goes. My M-I-L is doing well but we'll see.....

My M-I-L is doing well and has moved to a rehab facility and likely (knock on wood) will only have to stay a week or so. (That's remarkable).

Dee, it seems the prayers have been of use to your mother-in-law.
Only a week in a rehab centre – following a stroke, that is nothing short of a miracle.
