    I haven't polished mine at all. I like the patina/ tarnish it's developed because it's shows that the badge is 1) old and 2) real silver...

    Dram, I purchased a run of the mill clan cap badge in 2001 which is 2" x 1.75" I purchased one last year which is 2.5" x 2". Looks like clan Badges are going the same way as MacDonalds "Can I supersize that Sir"

    I guess you're right. Doesn't seem to be a standard cut and dry size.
