I have one of their philabegs...same kilt without the extra material. I bought it for renn faires but wear it casually often. I like it, good value for the money, made in USA, was exactly as advertised, easy people to deal with.

I got mine in the homespun in the 'Robertson' tartan. The material feels quite nice but is not as heavy as i might like for winter...but is great for sumertime in Colorado which is what I bought this kilt for.

clan campbell,
When you get it I would like to see some pics of it posted. I have an inexpensive Black Watch kilit and I'm curious about the coloring of the
Ancient Campbell.
And Hello from Caln Campbell of NA in San Diego!!

Some of the ones I have seen don't have the correct sett and some seem a little dull in their color, but I am realy new to all of this and I've only seen a few examples.
Guess I'll have to wait and see.
It's interesting that you say you're from Michigan. I was born in Three Rivers, south of Kalamazoo and my mother's side of the family is where I get the Campbell connection from around Byron,Kent County I believe.

well i mean the sett will vary depending on how the fabric is woven or cut, and im second generation campbell born in america in my family, so i have very close blood to true scottish, and the colors will also vary a little with the tartan as well,
