7 Nations in Fredericksburg FEB 18

Just learned that Seven Nations will be playing at the Colonial Tavern, tomorrow, FR 2/18 @ 9 PM. Cost is $10. If anyone is planning to attend let me know so I can get permission from the wife to meet you there!

About 60-70 miles depending on route, and 1 1/2 hrs plus.

7 Nations were the band that really got me into Celtic Rock when they played at my college back in the day. I haven't listened to much of their new stuff...one album I bought was a bit too Rock and not enough Celtic and kind of turned me off. But maybe I'll get to see them when they're up this way this summer.

So last night, I tell the wife that I want to go downtown, Friday evening to hear Seven Nations. She askes if any of kilted buds are going with me. No, I haven't heard from any of them that they plan to attend, I said. Sharon replies, well I'll go and keep you company.

7N is fantastic, I first heard them when they were Clan Na Gael at the Stone Mountain Highland Games, also got to hear them this past weekend at San Antonio Highland Games, got autographs and a pic with Kirk, nice group of guys.

7N were at the San Antonio Highland Games. Mael Coluim, they have a big female following. I've got a few of their older CDs from the late 90's and early 00's.
