I have three quality machine sewn kilts, a tweed jacket/waistcoat, and have ordered a handful of tartan fabric lengths from them, all when they were having special sales that made the purchases opportunities that were practically impossible to pass up. Several of those tartan lengths have been made up into kilts by members here. Some of the items I bought before I had learned much about the Gold Bros motus operandi of business online and particularly along the Royal Mile, but much has been said of that so I will not dwell. What I have recieved has always been of good quality and with good customer service, but then I am selective about what I have ordered from them----no tartan Loch Ness stuffed animals or Scotland shot glasses or Saltire t-shirts.

Read the above references to previously discussed threads. Ask around, make your own decisions.

Mark, you were inquiring about the Freedom tartan. This would seem to be Heritage of Scotland’s Freedom of Scotland sett, although the Scottish Register refers to it as being a solid sett or dark tartan.
