D is just another colour they sent along. The tartan is three greens (from black green to acid green) and the purple.

I was hoping they'd send a few of each for some selection, but we may simply be limited by stock yarns.

Drac: I don't know what system they use for 'colour matching' at Dalgliesh...

It may simply be that these colours don't exist without custom dyeing. I'll contact them again to try and clear things up further.
