    Congratulations! It goes without saying, but I'm saying it anyway. Bass guitars and bagpipes have so much in common. They both start with "B" and it takes both hands to play them.

    I was all-city too. Well, town really, and there was only one school. There were eight of us in the band . . . and six of them were drummers. If you rythmically turn a vacuum cleaner on and off in 4/4 time, you get the general idea of what we sounded like while performing Beethoven's Ode to Joy.

    Kidding aside, All-City in Denver is a remarkable achievement. I congratulate your son and all those who, by assistance, support and encouragement, have contributed to this fine accomplishment.

    Sweet!! As a fellow bass player with a bass playing son, my boy is miles ahead of me aswell but it does make you chuffed to see them that way doesn't it?. Well done to your boy, that really is something.
