Hope everything comes out well. I've got a degenerating disc at L5/S1 that makes life fun at times, but with decent core strengthening exercise and watching my lifting I'm mostly pain free. Lets see what the docs say for you.

Terry, just saw this. Hope you will recover soon and the Doc's will get you on the mend. Rest, recover, and know that you are in my thoughts.

Terry, I just found this thread. I sure hope you're feeling better! Sending you good wishes for a quick recovery.

Same here Terry...
Just ran across this thread...hope that you get some resolution (i.e. a good treatment plan) out of the MRI and that you have a speedy relief. As my wife has had huge problems with back pain and her hip, I know how bad it can make things in your day to day life. Wishing you all the best and hope to see you back here soon!

It doesn't rain but it pours, eh! Hope you get things sorted out soon enough...think you might be able to make it up to Victoria?

Great to see you back on the forum Terry, not good that they can't find the problem.
You will be pleased to know that while you have been absent that the flu you had about a month ago, has managed to find it's way through the web and jumped out of my monitor last week and got me. I always like receiving goodies from overseas, but really mate, you could have kept this one.

Hi, Terry – it seems I missed this thread altogether. It is frustrating that they have not identified your problem, but it’s good to see that you’re back.
Best regards,
Mike

Update:
Greetings All!
First, I want to say "thank you" for the many messages of well wishes & those inquiring privately about my rather lengthy absence.
Second, I apologize for the long absence. The members of XMarks has been on my mind often.
As an update, my health issues (back) was getting better, when the day prior to my birthday (04/23) my wife & I were the victims of a hit & run accident. Fortunately neither of us were seriously injured, but the impact was enough to re-aggravate my back, as well as old rib injury.
I'm doing better now, though my ribs are still a little sore.
On another note my computer was down with an "illness" most of May, but it is feeling much better now.
Finally, the next month or two may see my presence here still a bit lacking, as I'm beginning a new venture in my life that will occupy most of my time (at least until I settle in). This summer I will be returning to school!
I'm a wee bit apprehensive as its been....well....lets just say its been many, many moons since I was last called a "student".
Oh, for those wondering, I'm pursuing a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice (after much thought, I decided that radiology just wasn't for me, my bread & butter had always been in the security enforcement field, and my wife encouraged me to do what would make me happiest).
I hope to settle in soon so I can spend more time here. I miss you all.
Best regards from the far corner of the Pacific NW (Washington State)!
p.s. ~ for those in my area, it doesn't appear I'll be able to make it to the Bellingham Games this weekend ($$ ... its very tight in our household). However, if I can, I'll be stopping by the Clan Lamont/Muir booth Saturday afternoon put on by XMTS members Old Hiker & Don (*if* I'm there you'll also be able to track me down @ the Clan Donald booth, wearing my Newsome Macdonald of Keppoch box pleat!). Cheers!
