Balmorals by Robert Mackie thru Dunadd Trading Company...
Well I've recently purchased 2 balmorals from Dunadd Trading Company that were made by Robert Mackie! The first was in Red & the second in Fawn w/diced band. I couldn't be happier w/both bonnets. I was so happy w/the quality of the Red balmoral that I decided it best to order the second in Fawn! The turn around time was probably between 3-4 weeks after each order was placed. That was with making the bonnet & shipping from Scotland to the east coast of the States Chris at Dunadd couldn't be more pleasant to deal with. Thanks again Chris & don't be surprised to see another order placed by me

Many thanks for the kind compliments, it was a pleasure to deal with you Sir
Your camera makes the red bonnet look very orange I must say, but looking good none the less

You're welcome Redshank! Self portraits certainly aren't at the top of my list of talents & figuring out the settings on my camera is even lower on the list I'll try to get a better pic up for comparison! The Red is certainly Red & not orange...Thanks again

I wish I could find one with a wider brim, the small crown looks odd to me.

Thanks Sir William, I actually like having red eyes Please don't let my photo taking abilities take away from the quality of these bonnets. If you don't have a bonnet from Dunadd Trading Company then I would suggest you place an order Then you can post your own photo

I assume you mean a wider crown?
I ordered a new bonnet form Chris last week, he shipped it to me this week, and now I'll be jonsing until next week when it should arrive.
I don't "jock" my bonnets, I "jim" them since I've been doing that for sevearal years. I'll so photos of mine when it gets here.
That's a very red bonnet!
