So I had a modern MacEwan kilt from my first pipeband Celtic thunder pipes and drums. Well I had my wisdom teeth yanked and in turn nerve damage!!!
So I couldn't hold a seal around the blowstick and got really discouraged. I stopped marching with them around spring of 2010 and about two weeks ago I found that there was Pipeband that my pipe major from CT started befor CT. It was called the Quaboag Highlanders. And they practiced on Monday nights and that was perfect for me. I joined and found that both bands wear the Modern MacEwan tartan. Awesome!! I went into the attic to get my kilt from the old band.

I have all my summer clothes in a closet up there and every summer my winters go up to the closet. I have NEVER had a problem.
My kilgt had holes in it like I ran into Stregas in Boston and called them all goombas and spit on a godfather poster. It was ruined!

So after looking around and talking to people I chose to commission a new kilt from Josh over at Skye Highland Outfitters. He was more than nice and I can't wait for my new kilt. It seems like yesterday that I was jonesing for my last Auld Scotland kilt and once I get it I start the jones all over again.
Next will be my jacket and waistcoat from USAK.
