I drive about 4000 miles a month month for my job. They reimburse me a lousy $300. I would probably do better taking a lower paying job and driving less. However, quitting is too scary. Can You imagine looking for a job right now?

Now?! I've been out since I assisted in the final days at my last plant in Sept. If it gets worse I may have to give up my squad duties as it is a voluntary gig. Luckily, I've got to go for a discussion next week at the employment office to determine what I want to be when I grow up (additional school opportunity) seeing that I've been displaced and I'm over 50.
