    London Scottish; Toronto Scottish

London Scottish on Hodden Grey badge backing. Haven't had the chance to put it on my actual Hodden Grey kilt yet...

Toronto Scottish, also on a Hodden Grey badge backing.

So, I told my wife about the XMarks dandelion, since I just ordered one from Steve and she wanted to know what the deal is.

Then I was showing her this thread, and she disappears into another room for a few minutes, and brings back this! (which is now mine for a kilt pin)

This closeup shows how the flower is made up of loops of wire.

Would you have guessed I am a forum member if you saw me wearing this on my kilt?

There are some VERY cool pins in this thread.

Unfortunately I only have one pin i use regularly... my collection of pins is about the same size as my collection of kilts: small. I've posted it a couple of times before, but here it is again. And yes, I am a gigantic nerd.

I am still working on these two...

But this one is still my favorite...

On my Colorado State tartan kilt:

I figured it's a Southwestern tartan- why not a Southwestern kilt pin?

I don't have that many kilt pins. One is actually a Star Trek pin but it works as a kilt pin. The other "non-standard" is one I made from a radio tube. I just hope the JB Weld holds the tube to the pin assembly.

I have enjoyed this thread. Thanks for starting it.

Mike, is that a vacuum tube second from the bottom?
How did you fasten it to the kilt?
