I miss the Mike McColgan DKM... his new band Street Dogs is good, but it isn't Old School DKM.
I've seen the original DKM and have seen the Post-Al Barr DKM twice. Been up on stage to sing along and have bought them a pitcher in a little Irish wino bar called "The Emerald" in downtown St. Pete. I am a fan.

Mike McColgan is great (I love Street Dogs) but, I mean, he was only on one album with Dropkick...

The wifey and I are huge fans, even if we discovered them a bit late(2 years ago). Since then I've purchased several cds and bought several t-shirts from their website. I cant get enough! I'm going to get the new release tonite. Hope to get to see them soon, maybe one of their Missouri shows. Whats your favorite song? I really like "The feilds of Athenry". But all are great songs.

I agree that Mike was a great singer too and do or die was a great album, but the band has come light years since he left. It's a whole different band now with Ken as the only original member. They're better now than ever.
The Street Dogs are good, but have gotten too "preachy" for me on the last album.
Can't wait for the show on Tuesday!

I bought the album--I'm a horrible fan. I still haven't listened to it. That's what commutes are for...

Congrats on their best-ever Billboard chart debut at #6, according to Independent Label Group e-zine.
Proudly Duncan [maternal], MacDonald and MacDaniel [paternal].

It is a good album i really like it but i like all there stuff. I think going out in style will be a great live song with a ton of crowd participation. I get to see them live in 8 days cant wait.
