    Scotman's Ball, March 2011

Sorry for the cell phone pictures -- Bob thought he had tucked his camera into sporran but turned out it dropped onto floor of very poorly lighted hotel room! Didn't miss it until we arrived at the gala event. But here's the proof, however blurry and overexposed.

We met up with Joe (seanachie) and his wife Kathy. Joe is on the left wearing Capercaillie and Bob is in his Black Watch variant.

A bit better shot of the kilts

    Piping in the haggis

Making sure the piper is ready for the toast!

    Entertainment from Highland Fusion

    More piping from Danny Burns

Next year's event is March 3, I believe, and I promise to have my good camera along!

That's in interesting jacket that Bob is wearing. Any more pics or perhaps at least a description of it?

It's the tuxedo that I converted as detailed in this old thread. Thanks for noticing!

Wow. That's the best conversion I've ever seen... maybe Flamingo should start offering converted jackets for sale!

Thank you, kind sir! Unfortunately my "real" job has me so busy right now that even projects for Bob are on the back burner. . .

Bob looks great in his new jacket, and I am *Delighted* to see another Capercaillie kilt!

Of course, both the men fade into the background, with those lasses on their arms...
