I recently stumbled across a new (2008) tartan by Brian Wilton as described on the STS site: Name of Tartan:Crichton (Clan) ITI Number:7784 Commissioned from the Scottish Tartans Authority by the Clan Chief, David Crichton of Monzie, Crieff The design is loosely based on the MacGill tartan from around 1745 to signify the early 19th century connection with the Makgill family. The colours are taken from the Creighton coat of arms issued in the 1980s. I would like to get a swatch of this tartan but cannot find it listed in the usual places.

There's something wrong with the STA graphic. Check the threadcount which gives this, the correct version.
Thanks for checking the count. I should have done that myself.
Pity. I like the incorrect one much better.
